Precision Testing for Superior Driving Dynamics
In today’s competitive automotive market, driving dynamics are key to vehicle performance and brand differentiation. From handling and ride comfort to braking and stability, every aspect must meet rising consumer expectations and regulatory demands.
As vehicles become more electrified and autonomous, evaluating dynamic behavior requires precise, data-driven testing. Traditional methods are no longer enough—manufacturers need advanced measurement systems to capture real-time insights across acceleration, steering, chassis response, and more.
To stay ahead, automakers must adopt test solutions that are fast, accurate, and adaptable—turning complex performance data into actionable insights that drive innovation and ensure vehicle excellence.

Performance & Safety
Vehicle safety, vehicle "intelligence" and driving comfort are ever-increasing demands. Accurate, highly sampled, and synchronized measurement data enables safety testing, like the elk test, or the evaluation of the ever-faster control loops of ADAS and AD systems.
Software & Connectivity Reliability
Modern vehicles are heavily software-driven, requiring extensive testing for over-the-air updates, cybersecurity vulnerabilities, and seamless integration of smart features.
Extreme Weather Performance
Negative temperatures, melting water, ice and snow or heat, humidity and acquaplaning or harsh environments are a challenge for a vehicle’s driving behavior. Challenges like these are mapped in various tests like the winter test.
Durability & Real-World Testing
From high-speed driving to urban stop-and-go traffic, vehicles need to be tested in diverse conditions to ensure optimal performance, durability, and driving experience.

Component Testing
Whether in prototype testing, quality assurance or to save costs - imc offers measurement and evaluation solutions for every vehicle component that meet the special requirements of the tests.
Technical Highlights and Products
Whether for wheel suspension, shock absorbers, servomotors, pumps, brakes or valves – imc component test stands can quickly and precisely test for perfect operation, verify lifetime, determine energy efficiency, and much more. Here, the data acquisition system imc CRONOSflex builds on imc’s experience by leveraging the imc platform concepts for stand alone operation, and at the same time, allowing the test engineer complete freedom regarding choices such as PC-based vs. standalone, and centralized vs. distributed architecture. Thanks to the modern software imc STUDIO, test objects can be tested for complex and wide-ranging scenarios.

RLDA (Road Load Data Acquisition)
In the development of new vehicles, there are often no suitable load collective data for determining the real stress on the components during operation. These must be determined by means of test drives. Testing on the test bench therefore begins with collecting data under real-life conditions. Our data acquisition solutions and our sensors ensure seamless durability testing of your vehicles and vehicle components.
Technical Highlights and Products
Designed for use with wheel sizes starting at 13", the WFT from imc is robust, waterproof, and temperature-compensated by using thermosensors located in the wheel. The WFT-Cx Wheel Force Transducer is part of a universal DAQ, the imc CRONOSflex. In addition to the driving dynamics data of the measuring wheels, the imc CRONOSflex offers synchronous data acquisition for all other variables required in mobile road tests. Included are digital data such as FlexRay, CAN, Ethernet through to strain gauges, voltage, currents, temperatures, and many more.
