The free FAMOS Reader 2026 is an updated version of the free measurement data analysis software. It enables the quick review and visualization of measurement data and, for the first time, supports the direct preview of Apache Parquet files in Microsoft Windows Explorer. Apache ParquetTM has established itself as a powerful format for large, structured datasets and is playing an increasingly important role, particularly in big data applications and cloud-based data architectures. The new FAMOS Reader simplifies the first, often crucial step in processing measurement data in the cloud: When a Parquet file is selected in the Windows Explorer, FAMOS Reader 2026 immediately displays the contained measurement data as a graph. Users can switch between measurement channels using a scroll bar, zoom in on and navigate the data in Explorer, and display metadata. Test engineers, project managers, and development teams can thus evaluate, organize, and prepare large measurement datasets for further analysis more quickly.

Berlin (Germany), July 4, 2024 - imc Test & Measurement, a brand of Axiometrix Solutions, introduces the new and universally applicable imc ARGUSfit B-4 measurement module. This bridge amplifier comprehensively expands the range of applications for the modular clickable imc ARGUSfit data acquisition system. The measurement module not only covers applications in mechanical structure tests or fatigue strength analyses. It can also be used for vibration measurements with piezoresistive accelerometers or pressure and blast sensors in bridge-based technology since it has 100 ksps per channel and a bandwidth of 40 kHz. In addition, potentiometric displacement transducers are supported as well as a pure voltage mode from 25 mV to 10V.

This interface seamlessly integrates any external sensor, device, or data source with a Modbus link. Test engineers who already rely on a comprehensive testing solution based on the imc CRONOS DAQ system platform and the imc STUDIO test and measurement software benefit from this when additional devices are needed. Typical use cases are monitoring and testing applications that need to involve the operation of power meters, weather stations, special sensors (e.g., pyrometers), or even climate chambers that communicate temperature or humidity data via Modbus.

Berlin, 12 March 2020 – At the SENSOR+TEST trade show in Nuremberg, Germany, imc Test & Measurement GmbH will present imc EOS, its first measurement system that operates in the megahertz range. With sampling rates of up to 4 MHz, very fast, dynamic processes can be precisely measured. A four-channel, isolated measurement amplifier allows the direct connection of voltage, current transformers and IEPE sensors for acceleration, sound or force. The areas of application are therefore quite diverse: from high-speed recorder use in blasting tests to structure-borne sound and vibration measurements, analysis of switching processes on control units or airbag and crash tests, right through to e-mobility experiments. An especially attractive feature is the possibility to operate imc EOS synchronously together with other imc measurement systems.

Because of its weight, the proven WFT-Cx was not an option for all applications, but now these tasks can be fulfilled by the considerably lighter WFT-Cxs variant, which is optimally suited for small cars with rims from 13 inches in size – and with almost the same strength.

Berlin, 14 March 2019 – The new Version 7.4 of the data analysis software imc FAMOS is now available. Version 7.4 offers numerous improvements for more efficient and faster operations. The display and navigation of large data sets in the curve window has been significantly accelerated. The creation of evaluation sequences is also easier with new code folding, extended syntax highlighting and new search options. In addition, functions for integrating and remotely controlling Excel have been comprehensively expanded. Completely new usability scenarios result from the option to choose your own imc Panels as the exclusive user interface and thus create individual “imc FAMOS Apps”.
Munich, 14 March 2019 – With the new Dx-Speed, a convenient system for non-contact rotation rate acquisition on vehicles, CAEMAX has expanded its Dx sensor system, which won the messtec + sensor masters award in 2018. With the CAEMAX Dx-Speed, wheel slip and aquaplaning can be measured synchronously, precisely and without major effort on all four wheels. Thanks to its innovative technology, the system does not require a stator or an external reference point to measure the rotation rates. The attachment of the sensor to the rim is therefore very easy to manage and takes very little time.
Berlin, 26 June 2018 – At the SENSOR+TEST 2018 trade fair in Nürnberg, Germany, KMT - Kraus Messtechnik GmbH together with imc Meßsysteme GmbH presented their new MTP-NT multi-channel measurement system. The system is characterized by a completely modular design and can be used both in stationary and telemetric configurations. It consists of a controller module, an inductive supply unit and freely combinable sensor modules. With two basic module types, one universal for voltage, strain gauge and IEPE sensors and one temperature module for thermocouples and PT100/1000, all typical sensors can be acquired. Depending on the task, the user can combine the modules to suit the number and type of sensors and form a customized system with up to 256 channels.
At the trade fair SENSOR+TEST in Nuremberg, Germany, imc Meßsysteme GmbH is presenting the new generation of its multi-channel measurement system imc SPARTAN. Equipped with a new base unit, the systems now support the entire imc portfolio of field and vehicle bus interfaces including CAN-FD. In addition, the new generation enables synchronization via network (NTP) and the fast IRIG-B Standard. The measurement modules also include 16-channel isolated temperature and voltage measurement amplifiers, as well as bridge amplifiers with a maximum sampling rate of 500 Hz per channel. A new, economically priced module has been added for connecting LVDT-based sensors, such as inductive displacement transducers. In addition to analog measurement amplifiers, imc SPARTAN offers digital inputs and outputs, as well as pulse counter inputs for incremental encoders.
CAEMAX Technology GmbH has developed a new system for wireless temperature measurement on vehicle wheels. The system is based on CAEMAX Dx telemetry and measures up to four thermocouples on one wheel. With a sampling rate of 200 Hz, even highly dynamic temperature gradients can be precisely examined during brake tests. A robust housing (IP67) reliably protects against wind and weather. Using a mounting plate, the telemetry unit can be attached quickly and securely to the vehicle's wheel bolts, thus ensuring that nothing stands in the way of even the toughest applications on the test track. Thanks to a powerful rechargeable battery, up to 50 hours of operation with only one charge is possible.
