Notes:

  • The Update from imc STUDIO 2024 or older to imc STUDIO 2025 is not for free.
  • When updating, please note the compatibility information in the What's new?
  • In earlier versions of imc STUDIO 2025, the following problems may occur, which have been fixed as of revision 4:
    • Issue: Measurements with imc ARGUSfit-CANFD modules are affected after internal data fifo wrap.
Description: If data of a CAN channel reaches its buffer size the internal buffer wrap algorithm increases the wrap count wrong. Therefore, the time derived information jumps into future and the error message "Measurement data overflow!" occurs. From there on the time information of the data samples “jumps” more into future on each buffer wrap.
Note: After preparing a measurement, the configured buffer size (buffer duration) is stated in imc STUDIO logbook as information.
    • Issue: Measurements with imc CANSASfit-HISO-T-8-2L at imc ARGUSfit-BASE insufficient temperature drift compensation
Description: If imc CANSASfit-HISO-T-8-2L is operated via imc CANSAS software, the modules temperature drift compensation works perfectly. But if imc CANSASfit-HISO-T-8-2L module is operated via imc ARGUSfit-BASE, that temperature drift compensation doesn’t work properly. This might lead to the following behavior: The accuracy is correct after preparing the measurement. If the module’s temperature increases, the measured temperature might increase too.
    • Issue: Measurements with imc ARGUSfit-BASE data overflow on internal storage media
Description: The internal storage of measurement data starts delayed by 5 minutes. If the internal buffer size is big enough all data will be stored correctly, but a high system load will occur. If the internal buffer size is less than 5min data will be lost for internal storage.
Note: After preparing a measurement, the configured buffer size (buffer duration) is stated in imc STUDIO logbook as information.
