In real-world operation, drives are constantly subjected to varying speeds and loads. This causes not only noise and vibrations to change, but also their characteristic frequencies and levels. To reliably compare and optimize drives, these dynamic operating conditions must be objectively recorded and analyzed in a reproducible manner.
In this webinar, we’ll show you how to characterize the noise emissions of drives using the sound pressure level according to IEC 61672/60804 and the sound power level according to ISO 374x. In addition, we’ll explain how mechanical vibrations can be analyzed and evaluated using ISO 10816 and ISO 20816.
From synchronous data acquisition during run-ups and under varying loads, through frequency- and order-based analysis, to the standards-based evaluation of results, you will learn practical methods for a comparable acoustic and vibration assessment.
From measurement signal to insight: This webinar demonstrates how synchronously acquired sound and vibration data can be used to create a clear picture of drive behavior—even when speed and load are continuously changing.
Speaker: Peter Schreiweis, imc expert for NVH and acoustic DAQ applications
