We are now looking for a Senior Director Sales for the Defence division. In this position, you will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer (management) and help us to realise an important part of our 5-7 year strategy.

Your Responsibilities:
Development and management of successful business relationships with key public and private partners in the defence sector
Conducting market and competitive analyses for the strategic alignment of customer support with a focus on Germany and Europe, supplemented by strategic defence markets of the Axiometrix Solutions group of companies
Close collaboration and management of internal teams in the bid and execution phase to ensure seamless execution from the bid process to project handover
Independently prepare bids for key projects
Regular reporting and coordination with management on trends and potential growth areas as well as presentation of market and competitive analyses
Analysing customer feedback to continuously improve the business strategy and product roadmap
Evaluating and prioritising the project pipeline together with the executing subsidiaries and our sales partners
Effective communication with our internal departments and external stakeholders
Lobbying in politics and their procurement structures
Close cooperation with the product management of the product line and marketing to sharpen our defence focus and visibility
Required Qualifications:
Completed studies in electrical engineering or similar (Master's degree), ideally with specialisation or previous knowledge in AI or IT
Successful military career desirable
Sound knowledge of test and measurement
Practical experience in a comparable position or relevant practical experience in the automotive industry, mechanics, mechatronics, IT
Ideally existing network in the public and private defence sector
Fluent written and spoken German and English
High level of self-motivation, leadership skills and commitment, strong team and communication skills
