imc Test & Measurement is part of Axiometrix Solutions, a leading provider of test solutions that brings together globally recognized measurement brands, including Audio Precision and GRAS Sound & Vibration.
As Head of Software, you are responsible for the architecture and further development of the company's software solutions. This key role combines technical excellence as a software architect with product ownership to translate the product vision into concrete goals and requirements for the development team in order to develop innovative software products that meet the needs of customers and the industry. You will ensure that software development projects are implemented efficiently and sustainably, integrating the latest technologies such as AI and cloud solutions.

Your Responsibilities:
Strategic decisions: Participation in strategic decisions for the further development of software products. Identification of innovation potential and its implementation in new software features
Product Owner: As Product Owner, take responsibility for implementing the product vision and strategy. Definition and prioritisation of product requirements and close cooperation with product management to ensure the market orientation of the software solutions.
Architecture and software development: Responsibility for the architecture of software solutions and the technical implementation of cloud and AI-based software solutions. Ensuring the scalability, security and performance of the software products.
Team leadership: Leading an interdisciplinary team of software developers and liaising closely with the specialist departments. Promoting team and individual development through targeted coaching and mentoring.
Reporting line: Direct reporting line to the Head of Development.
Cooperation: Close cooperation with the General Manager, Product Management and the Research and Development (R&D) departments.
Travelling: Approximately 10% of working time for participation in specialist conferences, customer meetings or market observation.
Productivity: Quality of software solutions, achievement of milestones and on-time delivery of projects.
Team performance: Successful team leadership and development, employee satisfaction and promotion of innovation within the team.
Required Qualifications:
Degree in computer science, engineering or a comparable qualification. Additional qualifications in the software architecture of cloud and AI solutions are an advantage.
At least 5 years of experience in software development, with demonstrable leadership experience.
In-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure development and AI frameworks.
Strong communication and presentation skills, leadership skills, problem solving skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts in an understandable way.
Experience in agile software development: Scrum, Kanban and project management.
