Your Responsibilities:

  • Customs clearance & import/export
  • Commodity codes & customs classification
  • Responsible contact person for department-specific questions and the operational implementation of customs matters (internal/external)
  • Proof of preference & origin
  • Development and implementation of processes and process changes in the area of export
  • Involvement in import/export licenses & compliance
  • Responsible for customs optimization & simplifications (application for and use of simplifications: authorized exporter (EA), SDE, AEO certification, REX system for declarations of origin)
  • Assistance with audits & internal controls
  • Sanctions & list checks
  • Assistance with inventory work and stock controls

Required Qualifications:

  • Commercial training with a focus on customs, or comparable training or further education in this area
  • Practical experience in the field of customs (import & export)
  • Experience with ATLAS
  • Ideally, experience in the dual-use sector
  • Experience in a commercial enterprise
  • Affinity for technical products
  • Excellent organizational skills and analytical thinking
  • Ability to work independently and accurately
  • Willingness to perform and quick comprehension
  • Very good German skills and good English skills Reliability and team spirit
