Incoming Goods Inspector (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
- Goods Receipt: Checking shipping documents, the number of boxes, and for damage
- Incoming Goods Inspection: Verifying part numbers, the number of parts, visual inspection for defects, and special inspections
- Dimensional Inspection: Checking lengths, diameters, and fits using calipers, micrometers, or optical measuring systems based on drawings.
- Sampling inspection: Selecting parts using statistical methods (such as AQL) when a 100% inspection is not possible
- Comparing measured values with specifications from quality management or drawing documentation
- Documenting measurement data for traceability and filing it in the system
- Communicating with departments (Quality, Purchasing, and Production)
- Blocking and filing complaints regarding defective parts in the event of deviations
- Recording inventory in the inventory management system
Your profile:
- Technical or business training/apprenticeship, or alternative education/training with experience in quality, mechanics, or logistics
- Several years of professional experience in quality or logistics at an industrial company
- Proficiency in standard Office software and ERP systems
- Very good German skills; English skills are a plus
- Analytical, structured, and results-oriented thinking and approach
