Support engineer for Measurement Technology (Software and Hardware) (m/f/d)

As part of our support team in Friedrichsdorf (near Frankfurt), you will support customers, sales and international partner companies with operating and application questions relating to imc's diverse product range.

After extensive training, you will independently process and resolve customer queries, communicate customer feedback to the relevant departments and thus contribute to the continuous improvement of our products and services.

You will create smaller customer-specific solutions with our software products imc STUDIO and imc FAMOS.

After your induction, you can also work from home if you wish.

Your tasks:

  • Advice and support for customers with technical measurement questions and tasks by e-mail, telephone, remotely or personally on site 
  • Creating sample configurations for our measurement data acquisition and evaluation software
  • Testing, reproducing, and processing errors for our development department
  • Answering and solving licensing questions relating to imc STUDIO and imc FAMOS

Your profile:

  • Joy in communication and customer contact
  • Ability to explain complex relationships in a structured and simple way
  • Brilliant communications skills and likes technical writing
  • Enjoy working with others to develop solutions to technical challenges
  • Completed university degree and profound knowledge in the field of electrical engineering, physics, measurement technology or similar
  • Profound IT knowledge of Windows clients and network technologies
  • Interest in physical correlations, measurement data acquisition and evaluation and ideally also in control and regulation technology
  • Basic experience in a programming language (e.g. Python or C#) is helpful but not essential
  • You have good German and English skills, which you are happy to use via e-mail and telephone
  • Some traveling activities, both national as well as international, must be expected
